Wedding season 1

La primavera e l'estate si sa sono le stagioni dei matrimoni (anche se io ho già dato per quest'anno) e come ho potuto constatare ieri dalle mie vicine di camerino in vari negozi Milanesi, trovare l'abito giusto è sempre un grattacapo...

Ho già parlato in passato delle regole a cui ci si deve attenere, quindi per stavolta vi propongo direttamente un pò di proposte...cominciamo dagli abiti lunghi!

Spring and summer are usually the wedding seasons (even if I am already done for this year) and, how I could observ yesterday from my fitting rooms neighbours in a couple of shops in Milan, finding the right dress is always a puzzle...

I have already talked about the dress code rules, so this time I will directly show a couple of options...let's start from the long dresses!

Da un paio di giorni a Milano è arrivata la primavera (oggi ci sono 20 gradi, è quasi estate), perciò i cappotti vengono sostituiti dai trench, il grigio dai colori e gli stivali dai SANDALI!
Quest'anno il must è il tessuto scamosciato in colori accesi dal blu al rosso...non vedo l'ora di comprarne un paio, ovviamente dal tacco altissimo e plateau...per ora i miei preferiti sono quelli color corallo di Prada, i blu di Luciano Padovan e i rossi di Zara...vediamo le mie finanze cosa mi permetteranno di comprare...

Since a couple of days, spring arrived in Milan (today there are 20°, it is almost summer), so the coats are substituted by the trenches, grey by colours and boots by SANDALS!
This year the must is suede in bright colours from blue to red...I can't wait to buy a pair, obviously with very high heels and plateau...so far my favourites are the coral ones by Prada, the blue by Luciano Padovan and the red by Zara...let's see what I can afford to buy...

Off-white

Gironzolando per negozi e siti web, ho notato questo trend imperante del così detto "off-white" (in italiano tradotto con un meno regale "bianco sporco")...io ho sdoganato il bianco non bianchissimo già quest'inverno con il mio abito di aqua (che potete vedere qui), ma a quanto pare bisogna rimpolpare il guardaroba in vista della primavera...

Ecco un paio di proposte, secondo due categorie che sembrano dominanti: l'abitino bianco con effetto pizzo (che a seconda del vostro grado di romanticismo innato può essere carino o centrino) e le proposte un pò più lady-like...

Going around in shops and websites, I noticed this strong trend of the "off-white" (in italian translated with a less posh "dirty white")...I used the white not superwhite already this winter with my aqua dress (that you can see here), however seems like we need to populate the closet for the spring...

Here there are a couple of options, under two categories: the little dress with lace effect (that depending on the gradient of romance in you could be nice or trycloth) and the more lady like items...

Lipstick effect

Si dice che in tempi di crisi aumentino le vendite dei rossetti e dei prodotti di bellezza in generale (posso testimoniare), sara' per questo che Prada ha lanciato queste scarpine qui? A me piacciono tanto tanto le decollette rosse (ma non sono per nient economiche, meglio ripiegare su un altro rossetto di chanel)...
