L'oro in tempo di recessione è inadeguato, ma l'argento è perfetto!
Più sobrio, meno prezioso ma ugualmente scintillante e, in un certo senso, ottimista.
Durante questo strano inverno si è visto sempre più frequentemente e, dando un'occhiata alle collezioni della prossima primavera - estate, sembra che la tendenza non ci abbandonerà: perchè quindi non approfittare di questi tristi saldi per fare scorte, risparmiando, per la nuova stagione?
Nella speranza che luccicare come stelle porti fortuna a tutte noi per questo lungo anno che si è appena aperto!

Gold in the time of recession in inappropriate, but silver is perfect!
It's more sober and less precious but, at the same time, it is sparkling and optimistic.
During this weird winter we have seen it more and more and, taking a look to the next spring - summer collections, it seems that this trend is not going to leave us soon: so why don't we take advantage from these gloomy sales to stock up, saving up, for the new season?
Hoping that shimmering as stars will bring  all of us good luck for the long year that has just started!

Thank you Tom!

My first fashion memories bring me to his times at Gucci, when I first discovered that the word "amazing" could be connected to a bag...and when he left, I kept loving his glasses, his clothes and now also his very expensive beauty line...everything in what bring is name corresponds exactly to my idea of elegance: original, minimalist, clean but not obvious...

But it is after having seen him at the airport that I am full of love for this man (so I stared following him on Twitter and read interviews on the net)...This very very handsome man, "suited and booted" but in such a natural way (not that I-am-very-rich-and-powerful banker style with a lot of gel in the hear to be clear), replied in a very polite way to a not very polite security guy asking him if he worked in Italy and, more important, he was flying Easyjet!

Thank you Tom for showing us that you can be glamorous even on a low cost carriers with a fare equal to one of your eyeshadows and that in times like this (there is crisis afterall) keeping showing off is sooooo out!

My fashion new year's resolutions for 2012

1)      Mettere lo smalto con regolarità
2)      Indossare i tacchi almeno 2 volte a settimana (sabato sera escluso)
3)      Aver totalizzato almeno 20 uscire con la borsa verde di Miu Miu e quella beige di Gucci prima di comprare la prossima borsa
4)      Non comprare mai più scarpe con il tacco poco costose per poi piangere di dolore sui divanetti dei club
5)      Comprare almeno un capo vintage
6)      Vestirmi bene anche per andare in palestra
7)      Farmi crescere i capelli
8)      Convertire tutto il mio beautycase in prodotti Guerlain
9)      Indossare più accessori, specialmente cinte
10)   Meno nero e più colori sgargianti

1)      Wear nail polish regularly
2)      Wear heels at least twice a week (excluding Saturday night)
3)      Totalling at least 20 times with my green Miu Miu and beige Gucci bags before buying the next handbag
4)      Never buy again cheap heeled shoes to then cry for the pain on club’s sofas
5)      Buy at least a vintage stuff
6)      Dress well even to go to the gym
7)      Grow my hair
8)      Convert my whole beauty case into Guerlain products
9)      Wear more accessories, especially belts
10)  Less black and more colours
